about Us

Hello!

My name is Valerie!

I have been a food and lifestyle blogger at From Val’s Kitchen and Mom Knows It All for over 15 years now. I frequently share my cats there.

I live in New Jersey and love it here. I am a cat person. From childhood to now, there may be only about six months or so of my life where I didn’t have at least one cat. I currently have four cats – Willy (a rescued Siamese), Tabitha (a domestic gray tabby foster fail), Cinnamon (a buff tabby foster fail) and Zelda (a longhaired rescue, technically my older son’s cat). In case that’s not enough cats for one small house, I can usually be found fostering at least one litter for a local cat rescue.

A couple of years ago I rescued my cat Willy. I have found myself fighting for his life from the very beginning. Recently I learned that Willy needs surgery, or his quality of life will be poor and his life expectancy will be drastically shortened. The surgery estimate is $4,000, which we don’t have. I started thinking of ways I could make money and thought perhaps I could turn something I enjoy, creating printables, into a business that could serve cat lovers like me while letting me help Willy and other cats. My goal is to raise money for Willy’s surgery. Once I accomplish that, I will donate a portion of each month’s sales to a cat related cause such as rescue.

Cat Printables offers cat-themed printables that look nice, that are useful and provide solutions, and that don’t break the bank. New printables will be added regularly. If there’s a question you have or if there’s something you are looking for that you don’t see please feel free to reach out!

If you’re a complete cat lover like me and can’t get enough cat printables, you might want to check out the Cat Printables Club!

Willy

My Siamese rescue cat. He is the reason I got involved with rescue, after my disastrous experience with a very shady rescue with unethical behavior.

Tabitha

A foster fail. Our gray tabby domestic shorthair.

Cinnamon

A foster fail. A buff tabby domestic shorthair.

Zelda

My son’s rescue. A beautiful longhaired girl.
